1.3 Rotor Lock

A Rotor Lock is a safety device whose function is to avoid a rotation between the fix part of the nacelle and the rotor. This locker is afterwards electrically or hydraulically controlled.

Technical features:

  • Hydraulic rotor lock for wind turbines
  • Locks the rotor on the low speed shaft side
  • Locking operation controlled via sensors
  • Available in two sizes (A1, A2). Other dimensions upon request
